Why post lift equipment?
Post lift equipment offers precision, stability, and extremely high load
carrying capacities.
With inline actuation, the lift motion is
linear and precise throughout its entire range of motion. Lifting can be performed
in fine increments to ensure alignment and easy transfer of loads between
the lift table and other
equipment.
Because the load sits directly on a column of
hydraulic fluid (or power screw) and steel posts, the support is extremely
rigid and stable. Without
costly and complicated locking mechanisms, most other types of lift tables put their
lift structure in torsion and bending. This makes them feel less rigid and
less stable.
Unlike our post lift competitors', most of ours use triple telescoping guide tubes
(see animation of guide tube cross section on the right). Triple telescoping
guide tubes offer a much larger bearing surface versus traditional double
telescoping. We also use precision DOM tubes manufactured specifically to
our close tolerance requirements, instead of standard off the shelf DOM tubes. This
combination of large bearing surfaces and close tolerances provide a high
level of precision. With the addition
stabilizer bars, our lift tables offer industry leading stability.
In addition to increased precision from
inline actuation, the load carrying capacity of post lift equipment is
typically much greater than other types of lift equipment. Our inline
actuation doesn't reduce the mechanical advantage of the lift system, and
won't require more costly power units and actuators for the same given
capacity requirements.
